Day 1: Arrival in Juba Hotel Check In and Visit Konyo Konyo Market & Drive to Mundari Tribal Land

Upon your arrival in Juba, the capital of South Sudan, you will be greeted by our team and driven to a hotel for a delicious lunch. Afterward, we embark on a short drive to the enchanting Mundari village settlements, located just 20 kilometers away. The Mundari tribe is known for their nomadic lifestyle and their settlements vary between the Tarekeka area and the vicinity of Juba, depending on grazing lands availability. We will mingle with the tribe as they return with their cattle around 5:00 pm, providing an opportunity to witness their unique way of life. Overnight camping will be arranged in the Mundari village, allowing you to immerse yourself in this fascinating culture.

Day 2: Juba to Dinka VillageDrive to Dinka Village in Minkamin

Half Day with Mundari – Drive to Dinka Village in Minkamin
Rise early at 5:30-6:00 am to witness the morning routine and activities of the Mundari tribe. Spend a half day observing their customs and traditions before we drive to the Dinka village in Minkamin. The Dinka tribe is one of the largest ethnic groups in South Sudan, known for their cattle-keeping traditions and vibrant cultural practices. Overnight camping will be arranged in the Dinka village, providing an opportunity for further exploration and cultural immersion.

Day 3: Drive Dinka - Lopit Tribe VillageLopit Tribe Village Exploration

After breakfast, we depart from the Dinka village and drive to the village of the Lopit tribe. The Lopit people are known for their unique customs and traditions, and this visit will offer a glimpse into their way of life. Overnight camping will be arranged in the Lopit village, allowing you to experience their hospitality and learn about their ethnography.

Day 4: Lopit - Lotuku - Boya Tribe in Imatong HillsLotuku Village Exploration and Meeting the Boya

In the morning, we drive to Lotuko, a region rich in cultural heritage. From there, we proceed to the Boya tribe, located in the scenic Imatong Hills. The Boya people are renowned for their craftsmanship and agricultural practices. Overnight camping will be arranged in the Boya village, providing an opportunity to explore the stunning surroundings and engage with the local community.

Day 5: Boya Imatong Hills - Kapoeta TownExploring Boya & Drive Kapoeta Town for Topossa Tribe

After breakfast, we continue our journey to Kapoeta, a vibrant town in South Sudan. Upon arrival, we visit the daily market of the Topposa tribe, known for their unique traditions and vibrant culture. In the afternoon, we drive to Pariang, an area famous for its gold mining activity along the riverbanks. Later in the day, we return to Kapoeta. Overnight accommodation will be provided at Kuleu Hotel in Kapoeta.

Day 6: Kapoeta - Koteen VillageVisit Topossa Tribe by Koteen Mountain

Today, we embark on a drive to Koteen Mountains, home to the remote Topposa village. Explore the village in-depth, witnessing their daily activities and getting a deeper understanding of their way of life. In the early morning, we visit the village before driving to Nimule town. Overnight accommodation will be provided at a hotel in Nimule, allowing for a comfortable stay after a day of exploration.

Day 7 Koteen Village - Mogos VillageDrive Koteen - Mogos

Drive 45 KMS to Mogos
Drive on one of the hardest road to the land of Jiye. The weather here is very hostile. Sometimes temperature rises to 45 degrees.
Here we spend our time with in Mogos village the spring board to Jiye tribe visit.

Day 8 Mogos Village - Jiye TribeDrive further to Jiye Tribe

Drive Mogos to Jiye Trial village for further Exploration – Journey from Mogos to Jiye, where you’ll encounter the fascinating Jiye tribe. Visit different Jiye villages, witnessing their distinct way of life and experiencing their warm hospitality. Enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner amidst the captivating surroundings. Overnight camping will make this an unforgettable experience.

Day 9 Jiye- Return to Kapoeta -Full day drive back to Kapoeta

Bid farewell to Jiye and embark on a full-day drive back to Kapoeta, reminiscing on the incredible encounters and scenic landscapes you’ve witnessed. Meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, will be provided. Overnight in Kapoeta

Day 10 Return JubaFly or Drive to Juba
